Jajamaru navigates ten stages of side-scrolling platforming action to rescue Princess Sakura from the Catfish Pirate. Players throw shurikens to defeat evil spirits and can recover a faithful frog to ride through the levels. Success requires reaching the end of each stage before the timer expires.
